As a specialist company in sealing systems, we know that accurate gas control is critical to maintaining safe and efficient processes.
At Lidering we have developed the LNFC Gas Panel, a gas control solution specifically designed to create an accurate seal using an inert gas barrier. We tell you about it below.
What is the LNFC Gas Panel?
The LNFC (Lidering Nitrogen Flow Control) Gas Panel is a leak-free sealing tool, a specialised solution for managing nitrogen gas injection in sealing systems.
Nitrogen, an inert gas that does not react with other substances under controlled conditions, is ideal for this sealing solution, as the gas control panel forms a protective barrier between the process fluid and the outside, preventing contamination and preserving product integrity. In this way, LNFC gas panels guarantee a continuous and stable flow, ensuring that the gas barrier is consistent and keeps the system completely sealed.
LNFC Gas Panel Applications
In some industries where precision and cleanliness are essential, it is necessary to isolate the product from external elements that could damage or contaminate it. Thus, through this nitrogen injection system between the chamber where the process fluid is located and the external part, a total protection barrier is achieved.
Nitrogen flow control gas seals can be used in many sectors, with gas seals being essential, for example, in the chemical sector, where chemical reactors form closed spaces in which controlled chemical reactions are carried out in order to perform certain manufacturing processes. In these cases, therefore, the reagents need to be protected from external elements at all costs.
Other sectors where LNFC gas panels are often applied are in the pharmaceutical industry, where manufacturing processes need sealing solutions with total control to ensure the purity of the final product. Or the food and beverage industry, another clear example of a sector where it is very necessary to avoid contamination of the final product, so gas control is essential.
In each of these industrial applications, however, the LNFC Gas panel acts as a critical component to ensure that the system remains watertight and that products are not exposed to external agents that could damage them.
Technical characteristics of the gas control panel
The LNFC gas control panel has been designed to provide a solution within precisely sealed assemblies, so its features stand out as a totally watertight solution mechanism, providing benefits to reactor performance. Among the features of the Lidering gas control panel we find:
- Pressure gauge with electronic sensor, a part that allows precise control of internal conditions.
- Precision flowmeters, designed to handle small flows (up to 3 l/min) and larger flows (up to 13 l/min), adapting to various applications.
- Non-return valve, an element that protects the reactors during steam cleaning, preventing damage.
With these features in the gas panel, we not only ensure an exact control of the injected gas, but also optimise the durability of the sealing systems.
LDC80G seal: double balanced cartridge for reactors
Allows monitoring of the gas injection pressure and the flow rate being consumed by the seal.
We design and manufacture our own mechanical seals based on the knowledge of our engineering department and 50 years of experience as specialists in mechanical seals.
As a result of constant R&D work, the Lidering LDC80G mechanical seal perfectly complements the LNFC gas panels, as it allows to control the gas injection pressure and the flow rate being consumed by the seal.
Features of the LDC80G Seal:
The LDC80G mechanical seal has the following features:
- Shaft vibration absorption, ideal for systems with high rotation and vibration.
- Prevents nitrogen leakage, ensuring that the injected nitrogen remains within the system. In this way, the gas panel will inject the required amount of nitrogen and the seal will prevent the nitrogen from escaping.
- Designed to work in conjunction with the gas control panel.
- Designed for non-contact faces, i.e. no friction between them (minimising wear and prolonging their useful life).
Thus, when the LNFC gas control panel and the LDC80G mechanical seal work together, a continuous sealing system is achieved that not only ensures optimal operation, but also increases the lifetime of the equipment and reduces long-term operating costs.
