Lidering has designed a bespoke cartridge solution for this requirement working in conjunction with the final customer’s engineering.
The seal faces are bathed in a clean, lubricating fluid, unlike traditional seals which are lubricated by the fluid to be pumped.
This more reliable solution allows for greater durability of the sealing solution.

Solution
Our LSC40 single cartridge with metal parts in Alloy 20 (2.4660) or Duplex (1.4462) that are highly resistant to the fluids it is in contact with, is the sealing solution when pumping aggressive chemical fluids in mining applications.
The internal design of the cartridge has several advantages over conventional solutions:
- monolithic friction faces to prevent loss of flatness.
- springs insulated from product.
- anti-rotation pin friction faces to prevent them from locking and rotating in their housing.
- self-adhesive flat gasket and more.

Solution
Solution double cartridge type LDC40-140 with Silicon Carbide faces and perfluoroelastomer joints, whose design allows working without lubrication by the product fluid and at the same time at high temperatures.
The external barrier fluid passing through the cartridge flange allows heat dissipation and the internal jacket, due to its special design, favours the movement of the fluid, improving the cooling capacity.
This Lidering design improves on the traditional solutions used in these agitation equipment and aids sustainability with the use of a closed cooling system.
